Lafuma Recliner Conditions of Use and Limited Warranty Listing from Instruction Manual

Excludes Accessories and Webbing

1) Conditions of Use (please review the enclosed instruction manual upon receipt of your Patio Recliner):

This Recliner is solely for personal and leisure use.
This Recliner is designed and manufactured for "normal use" as a chair for sitting or reclining, which implies that:

  • It should only be used for the weight for which it is designed, that is 140 kg (308.646 lb) maximum, which excludes, amongst other things, use by 2 people at the same time, even for a short period or leaning on it partially.
  • Individuals should sit down in the chair without "falling" into it, and should change position without making any sudden movements.
  • If you have any reasonable concern about a preexisting medical condition or special physical or medical needs, you should check with your health provider prior to using the chair.
  • If it is used by children they should be supervised by adults (this product is not a toy or a "trampoline").
  • The chair should be maintained regularly, in particular:

  • The elastic laces should be replaced when they show signs of wear (especially in the area at the front of the seat) and at least every two years - not covered under warranty.
  • The metal joints should be lubricated with a cycle chain lubricant or equivalent.
  • It should be stored protected from adverse weather conditions and in a dry location when it is not in use.

    2) Limited Recliner Warranty:

    Lafuma uses steel in a variety of applications and forms it for outdoor furniture because of its durability and weight. Although furniture frames are cleaned, primed and coated for protection, STEEL CAN RUST AND IS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY!

    Warranty Procedures

    1) Defective Recliner Parts:
    Lafuma will send replacement parts directly by UPS either to the dealer (Zearth.com) or the customer free of charge and freight prepaid. Example of defective parts: faded fabric, broken arms, etc... excludes webbing

    2) Defective Lafuma Recliner
    Per agreement between Zearth.com and their Lafuma Distributor.

    3) Freight Claims
    Per agreement between Zearth.com and their Lafuma Distributor.

    This Lafuma Recliner has been designed and manufactured in order to provide you with maximum satisfaction and safety.
    It is guaranteed for two years against any manufacturing or material defect.
    This guarantee does not cover business use, improper assembly or setting up, improper use, wear or faults resulting from incorrect use of the Recliner.
