Tree Swing Chairs and Hammocks - Outdoor Tree Swing Chairs by Sky Air and Wanda Hanging Swinging Chairs
The Vivere Chair ia a premium quality hanging chair made with marine grade awning fabric. It is guaranteed not to fade for five years. Commonly found in resorts, on dive boats and at beach bars around the world, the Hammock Chair is said to be the most durable hanging chair on the market. Many resort owners report that after enjoying hours of reading and relaxing with a favorite beverage in the HavaNapa Chair, their guests want to take one home. The HavaNapa chair is simply more comfortable than common bar chairs, traditional rope hammocks, dive boat benches or lounge chairs.
The Vivere Chair is specially designed to endure the abuse of a tropical environment. It is constructed from the same type of material used for sail-covers, awnings and biminis on boats all over the world. For enhanced durability, a full two-inch webbing wraps around the material on the side seams. This webbing is also responsible for attaching the seat to the suspension system. This significantly increases the overall strength of the chair. Becasue of that, the Suspension Loops are made with military contractor specification box stitching. This is the same stitching the military uses for paratrooper parachutes. 128 separate stitches join the two pieces of webbing.
Other hanging chairs genreally falter in the construction of the seat. It tends to unravel in the front/center where users must center their weight when getting exiting the seat. HavaNapa chairs are stitched with 1200 lb test 2" webbing inside the entire front seam of this critical spot. This makes the strength of the chair's front equivelent to a car seatbelt!
The HavaNapa Chair is manufactured by Hammex Hawaii, Inc. in San Diego, CA. They have been in business for twelve years. In the past Hammex Hawaii sold chairs made by other companies and found those chairs to be adequate for the average consumer, but not for resort use. As a result, they began to manufacture the HavaNapa Chair in the United States.
HavaNapa FAQ
Q: How does the HavaNapa Chair compare to other chairs on market?
A: The HavaNapa Chair is designed to withstand the elements and abuse of a tropical resort setting. The material is heavy-duty, solution dyed-acrylic marine grade awning fabric, which is guaranteed by the manufacturer not to fade or deteriorate if left out in the sun for five years. Most other chairs on the market are made with cotton canvas or 600-denier nylon materials, which fade and deteriorate much more rapidly when exposed to the elements.
In addition the webbing that holds the chair together has an industry standard os one inch which is found on most chairs. HavaNapa uses two-inch webbing wraps around the material for more durable construction on the side seams. Because this webbing also attaches this chair seat to the suspension system, the two-inch webbing dramatically increases the overall strength of the chair. We've also added a two-inch webbing that is sewn inside the front and back seams of the chair. The extra webbing along the front edge is critical because the front edge is a stress point when people get in and out of the chair. This design is unique to HavaNapa Chiars.
Q: Can you wash the HavaNapa Chairs?
A: It is best to simply hosed off and scrub with a sponge then hsng to dry. It is not recommended that you use a washing machine because the ropes are attached.
