Danby refrigerator freezers have either an automatic defrost, or a push button defrost system for the freezer takes advantage of the energy efficiency of manual defrost, while keeping the simplicity of defrosting at the press of a button. Generally, smaller refrigerators (under 14 cubic feet) are more efficient than larger refrigerators just due to the smaller volume. However the current line of Danby refrigerators listed here, whether compact refrigerator or mid size refrigerator, do not qualify for rebates related to being energy star compliant. |
