Prism Stunt Kites, single line kites to quad line stunt kites
Based on paraglider technology, the all fabric wings self inflate as they fly and deliver maximum speed and pull for anyone looking for a rush. The stunt kites make excellent trainers for those interested in learning to kite surf.
The Prism Snapshot series can produce some radical aerial thrills, and fold up in your pocket, your briefcase, or the glove box of your car when not in use. Considered exceptionally fast and hard-pulling in all three sizes, even the diminutive 1.2 is known to keep people on their toes when the wind is blowing. Unlike most parafoils, the Prism Snapshot stunt kite sports a tight, turn response that feels like driving a finely tuned sports car. Enjoy and good luck carving up the sky.
Smaller than the foils you’d use for buggying or kiteboarding, these wings are the ideal intro to power kiting and dual-line control. They’re great for learning the basics because there’s nothing to break when you crash, but you’ll bring yours everywhere once you get the hang of it because they’re just so much fun. Carefully shaped inlets keep the wing from collapsing in gusty wind, a constant problem with lesser designs, and the elliptical design with a new airfoil profile minimizes drag for awesome speed and acceleration. Complete with Spectra lines already attached, flight straps, winder, and tail, Snapshot stunt kites will make a wind junkie out of you on your first breezy day.
Do you live in a windy area? Tired of the wind? Well turn that problem into a great experience with kit flying.
STYLUS P.2
The P.2 develops impressive pull in a strong breeze but responds with crisp precision to your inputs. It’s astonishingly easy to recover from a collapse or a crash due to its oversized air inlets, and when the wind picks up it’ll really scream along. Want more power? Stack one, two, or three more P.2’s in a train and get ready to go for a ride!
STYLUS P.3
Powerful enough to scare you in a blow, the P.3’s 9-foot wingspan develops enough pull to drag even the less svelte among us down the beach. Treat it with respect and it’ll teach you the basics of power kiting without boring you with the sluggish response of most larger parafoils. When you’re ready for a real thrill, stack two together to double your power, or switch the convertible bridle to quad line mode for a great introduction to four-line flying.
STYLUS P.4
Attention adrenaline seekers! The Stylus P.4 stunt kite has a 11foot wingspan and 3.5 meter sail area, so this kite will fly. Actually, Prism claims this is the most powerful production kite ever, and not for the faint of heart. Unlike most large foils, the P-4 has amazing speed and maneuverability which make it a blast on two lines or four. Acceleration is smooth and controllable which makes its awesome pull easier to manage for newcomers to power kiting. When you’re ready for more, hook on a set of quad lines and you’ll be over the horizon in no time on land or snow.
Paper thin, but strong enough to power Prism kites faster than 60 mph, The nylon and polyester ripstop fabrics capture the wind at a fraction of the weight. Transparent Mylar laminates engineered specifically for our kites provide ultra-low stretch for precise control over wing shape, giving the user not just a gorgeous shimmer in the sun but a responsive, low-drag sail that reacts to your every input. Internal Kevlar reinforcements, the same stuff used in bulletproof vests, protect your investment from those unplanned encounters with terra firma.
