- Note: Bamboo cannot be bleached with chlorine and Bamboo cannot be washed with fabric softener (including detergents with fabric softener) nor can it be dried with fabric softener dryer sheets. (The chemicals in chlorine bleach and all types of fabric softeners will destroy the fabric even faster than it does cotton fabrics.)

Detailed Product Description:
Bamboo is a natural fiber much like cotton, wool and silk. As a woven fabric, bamboo is soft, smooth and luxurious. The very nature of a bamboo allows air to circulate freely throughout the fiber and is the only fiber with the strength and elasticity of man-made fibers. Much like silk, this long fiber does not break apart creating dust or allergens. Moreover, bamboo is naturally resistant to germ and bacteria growth. (Note: This does not claim that bamboo is anti-bacterial.) Bamboo blankets are quite warm relative to their weight.
