The sheets and bedding are made from 100% Viscose from Bamboo. Viscose refers to the process of turning the bamboo plant into bamboo fiber. Viscose is a generic term that is recognized by the Federal Trade Commission for fibers such as bamboo. In order to comply with FTC regulations we must use "Viscose from Bamboo" as the fiber content descriptor. Bamboo Bedding is made from the same fabric that you are accustomed to, only the label has been updated to meet the federal requirements.

Note: Bamboo cannot be bleached with chlorine and Bamboo cannot be washed with fabric softener (including detergents with fabric softener) nor can it be dried with fabric softener dryer sheets. (The chemicals in chlorine bleach and all types of fabric softeners will destroy the fabric even faster than it does cotton fabrics.)
