Summary:
The Galileo G-50SS spotting scope views images at 20x, has a 50mm objective lens and is made from a composite material. This makes the G-50SS very lightweight but, also very durable. The multi-coated lens insures excellent light transmission, and also provides bright, glare free images. The spotting scope is nitrogen purged making it water proof and fog proof and designed to give many years of trouble free performance. Included with the G-50SS are a custom carrying case, table top tripod and lens cloth.
The Galileo G-50SS features multi-coated optics for improved glare reduction and increased contrast & clarity, a 2.5mm Exit Pupil and exhibits a minimum focusing distance of 24 Feet. Linear Field of View is 147 Feet at 1000 Yards and Angular Field of View is 2.8°. The Relative Brightness Index (RBI) is 6.25 and the Twilight Factor is 31.62. Eye Relief is approximately 8mm - 10mm. |
