Steam cooking is not an exact science. Time for water or other liquids to start steaming varies based on a number of variables; starting water temperature, quantity of liquid used, altitude at food steaming location.
Turn off the Jumbo Broil King food steamer by turning the dial to 0. Always unplug food steaming appliances when not in use, when filling and when cleaning.
