The Hamilton Beach WaveStation aptly gets its name from a patented Wave-Action, which continually forces mixtures into the blades for smooth no-chunk results. Unlike traditional blenders, which spin contents around the sidewalls of the jar, the WaveStation blades are shaped to swirl ingredients up, around, and back down, creating the continuous wave and ensuring smooth, even blending.
The Wavestation blender features a large-capacity, double-wall, clear plastic jar with thick, thermal insulated walls tapering from a wide, top diameter of 5-3/4 inches to a 4-inch base. The carafe has front markings for up to seven cups or 56 ounces, as well as rear milliliter lines for easy measuring. A white lid with clear filler cap twists and snaps into place for a leak-free seal. The jar itself slides easily onto a matching white base, which has pushbutton speed controls running down the side.
