Detailed Product Description:
Don't put up an ugly fence. Create a hidden fenced area for your dog with an Innotek 5200 electronic dog training collar. Designed to protect yards up to twenty-five acres, 500 feet of single-conductor ground wire and 100 feet of FasTrac pre-twisted installation wire is included to help you get started. Wire is laid only three inches below ground so deep digging is not required.
The sleek, low profile UltraSmart electronic dog training collar includes Ready Test which indicates the correct fit by clicking when first placed on the dog.
The collar's charging station plugs into any standard 110v ac wall outlet. A red light indicates when the collar is correctly positioned on the charging cradle. In two-three hours, the light will turn green when the lithium ion battery is fully recharged; overcharging is prevented by a built-in safety circuit.
The indoor wall mounted transmitter controls the fencing field through wires passed through the wall from the buried wires outside. Use the transmitter to adjust the size of the fencing field, strength of correction, alarm volume and more. Lightning protection is provided to keep a power surge caused from a lightning strike within two miles from destroying the transmitter.
When the dog approaches the boundary, the collar will emit a warning tone. Unless he turns back, a harmless electrical shock will be delivered. Run-through prevention automatically increases the correction level as your dog approaches the boundary. A timeout between corrections helps your dog learn his limits quickly. To ensure safety, over-stimulation prevention keeps correction to no more than ten seconds then blocks further corrections for ten more seconds before allowing stimulation to continue.
A Zone transmitter is included to cover any special areas where the dog is having problems. Put the smoke detector sized transmitter under your favorite chair, set the correction range and the chair will be yours. The transmitter sends out an FM signal up to six feet for a twelve foot diameter circle of protection. When the dog first encounters the signal he hears a warning tone. If he continues into the protected area, he will receive a mild shock that gets progressively stronger unless he turns back. Innotek Zones are the easiest pet containment system available.
