The curtain will stop water from spraying outside your shower without a plastic liner. This keeps unnatural plastics out of our landfills. The shower curtain will get wet, but will not leak through. The cotton shower curtain will rapidly air dry which helps prevents mold growth associated with plastic liners. This curtain is NOT guaranteed against mildew, with heavy use the curtain can stay wet and mildew like any other surface, at the first sign of mildew the curtain needs to be washed and dried thoroughly to prevent staining.
