The Warmly Yours Mesh Radiant Heat Rolls are ultra-thin electric heating mats or rolls. Only 1/8" thick, it is installed in the thinset cement used to lay down ceramic tile, marble or stone flooring; or in self-leveling concrete under vinyl, carpet, laminated flooring or hardwood floors. Our Electric Floor Heat Mesh Rolls have enough elasticity to make shallow installation in the mortar practical, yet adds only an 1/8 of an inch to the total floor thickness. In turn, this leaves room for additional rigid insulation in the floor, on top of the concrete or any sub-floor, which can increase its overall energy efficiency dramatically and reduce a home's heat loss. Tempzone's (TM) fiberglass mesh backed cable system measures less than 1/8" thick, and installs easily under tile, stone and marble flooring. The evenly spaced, 2 inch serpentine loop design delivers 25% more heating capacity as compared to most competitive systems to provide faster floor warm-ups. Q:How quickly does the floor warm up Electric Radiant Heat ?
A: This does depend on several factors, such as the room heat loss, the local weather or season, the type of subfloor in place, the insulation under the heated floor, and the watts option. In most cases, a second floor bathroom with 15-watt/ sq. ft. heating material will reach 78 to 82 degrees after 30 to 40 minutes (which is most people's preferred temperature) and 90 degrees after 2 hours. Installations with electric radiant heat 10 watts rolls or mats have a slower build of heat.
