The TrueHEPA universal Pre-filter is a carbon based filter. The HEPAtech® and the QuietFlo® TrueHEPA replacement filters are made with Sub-Micron Filter Material. The HEPAtech® filter should last 3-6 months; 1 year for the TrueHEPA.
