Tired of fighting off mosquitoes at backyard barbecues? The SkeeterVac™ SV-27 Mosquito Exterminator solves your problems silently and safely! This propane powered mosquito killer mimics the human body by emitting carbon dioxide, heat, moisture and specific attractants that lure in mosquitoes (carriers of the West Nile Virus), no-see-ums, biting flies and other airborne pests. Annoying pests think these emissions are human exhaled breath and are drawn to the source and vacuumed into the trap net where they perish.
SkeeterVac™ is the only product of its kind to provide customized attractants for specific outdoor environments. Different strains of mosquitoes are attracted to different formulas of attractant. The SkeeterVac™ allows you to control the dispersal of the active ingredient octanol, to target any type of mosquito. Placed strategically in a bedded or shrubbed area, the SkeeterVac™ SV-27 can provide up to 1 full acre of pest protection.
The moment the SkeeterVac™ is turned on, it goes to work, lasting up to 21 days with one 20 lb. cylinder of propane.

Answer:No, it was only tested and approved for Propane Gas.

Easy-to-follow instructions. Worked the first time. Everything was as advertised. I was up and running in less than five minutes. The tank has lasted for at least 21 days, and there's no need to constantly check operations because it works for the whole 21 days in all kinds of weather. The unit is sturdy and well constructed. The see-through bug collection chamber makes it easy to check the kill count, and the blinking green light lets us know the unit is working very well. Though I haven't tried the more expensive comparable products, I can't imagine them being worth twice the price. I'm confident the unit will be providing us with years of reliable service.
