The IQAir® Cleanroom H Series has been designed specifically for the removal of airborne particles. The system features the highest air delivery and longest filter life of any IQAir® Cleanrooms Air Balance Air Purifer. To allow for maximum air delivery, the systems contain no gas phase filtration.
The Cleanroom Series Air Purifierprovides a choice of 2 models, each with a specific filter efficiency and air delivery profile. The H11 Air Purifier is ideal for healthcare facilities that may require higher air delivery to achieve optimum control of microorganisms (e.g. in ICUs or TB isolation rooms).
Each IQAir® H11 Cleanrooms Air Balance Hepa Filter Air Purifier can be used as a recirculation air balance device or they can be combined with IQAir's ducting adapters InFlow W125 Cleanrooms Air Balance or OutFlow W125 Cleanrooms Air Balance devices to create positive and negative pressure environments. The creation of negative pressure helps to contain harmful particles, such as microorganisms, in a particular area (e.g. TB isolation). The creation of positive pressure air balance helps to protect clean areas from contaminants entering from adjacent rooms (e.g. protective isolation of immunocompromised patients, controlled environments for medical device manufacturing).
Air-borne pathogens in health-care environments pose a particular risk to immunocompromised patients who may inhale fungal spores, bacteria and viruses. Air-borne microorganisms can not only complicate recovery from surgery, but can also lead to life-threatening infections, costing health-care services hundreds of millions every year.
Hospital-acquired Aspergillosis for example, has been recognized increasingly as a cause of severe illness and high mortality in immunocompromised individuals, e.g. patients undergoing chemotherapy and/or organ or bone marrow transplants. In the light of the marked increase in nosocomial infections over recent years, many of which are caused by drug-resistant pathogens, the importance of using high-efficiency air filtration systems beyond the confines of so-called “critical areas” (such as surgical operation theatres) has once again been emphasized. Both the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), advise that, wherever possible, preventive infection control measures should be implemented to reduce the risk of nosocomial infections.
With its large fan motor, IQAir® Air Purifiers produce more clean air with less noise by having the fan motor located after all filter stages. IQAir® air purifier systems have the fan in the center, in-between the noise absorbing filters. The IQAir® centrifugal fan is individually balanced and uses steel ball bearings outlasting other fans by years. IQAir® Purifiers provide a choice of up to six fan speeds, allowing you to select the ideal performance-to-sound ratio. The thoughtful design avoids drafts by evenly returning cleaned air through a large 320° vented diffuser.
IQAir® Air Purifiers now utilize a completely computer-redesigned "red label" radial fan. The flow-optimized fan features a revolutionary 7-blade design, versus the previous 11-blade. Increased size and aerodynamic shaped fan blades results in a performance boost. The results? Increased energy efficiency and air delivery at most fan speed levels, while running even quieter than previous models.
The Intelligent Filter Life Monitor Control Panel (see above) takes actual use, speed settings and air quality conditions into account assuring maximum filter yield and performance. The Life Monitor Menu (pictured above) shows the remaining life of each individual filter, down to the hour! Filter Status LEDs also change color from green to orange to red to signal filter replacement. Featuring a revolutionary modular tower design, which snaps open without tools to allow access to all filters in seconds. The filters are designed to last long as they use commercial size air filters with independent filter stages. IQAir® Air Treatment Systems feature patented triple-sealing technology which improves efficiency dramatically.
Each IQAir® H11 Cleanroom System can be programmed to run automatically. Set the unit to run during lab hours or in treatment rooms or program it in your patients room, to go on after they have reached deep slumber. Each IQAir® Air Filtering System comes with a remote control which allows you to turn the unit on and off, select the fan speed and activate the timer.
IQAir® tests and individually certifies every IQAir® Cleanrooms Air Balance Hepa Filter Air Purifier. Each unit is tested for particle filtration efficiency, filter leakage and air delivery and then is issued with a Certificate of Performance, detailing the test results.
