Beginner: Any person or child who has never driven, flown, or sailed a RC toy. Any person who has never successfully driven, flown, or sailed a RC toy without incurring serious crash damage as defined as breakage of a critical part such that the toy will no longer function as advertised. Any person or child who has never driven, flown, or sailed a RC toy that is powered by a gas engine. This person can demonstrate basic control of the toy some of the time.
