With some equipment like this, with pulse sensors, the equipment will beep at you if you remove your hands from the sensors. Does this model have that feature, or will it remain silent if you release the hand grips (or is that alert configurable so that we can turn it off)?
A: The 4800R displays the pulse rate, from 39 to 240 beats per minute. You must place both of your hands on the Pulse Sensors on the Handrail to input the pulse signal. If you do not place your hands correctly and 8 seconds passes without a pulse input, the computer will turn off the pulse circuit.
