A Fujitronic FH-776T Portable Swamp Cooler puts moisture into the air as it takes heat out of the air. You feel cooler and the air doesn’t feel so crackling dry. Swamp coolers cost less than air conditioners and because they use a heat absorbing natural reaction there is no Freon involved! This swamp cooler uses an evaporative air cooling system to remove heat from the air making the air stream feel cooler. This portable air cooler cools without using noisy and inefficient compressors by using the natural endothermic properties of water evaporation. Four caster wheels roll the portable swamp cooler wherever you need a little cooling boost.
The Fujitronic FH-776T Portable Swamp Cooler includes a magnetized remote control to operate the unit from a distance. The ionizer cleans the air creating fresher smelling air and an easier-to-keep-clean room.
With 7.5 hours of cooling capacity per tankful of water, three selections of wind speed and an air cleaner, you are guaranteed not to need anything other than a Fujitronic FH-776T Portable Swamp Cooler to take care of your fresh and cool air needs!
How a swamp cooler works
A swamp cooler is a machine that uses evaporation to make an air
stream that is cooler than the surrounding air. Swamp and evaporative air coolers have a few main parts: a water tank, a wick to absorb water from the tank and a fan to blow air over the wick and the water in the wick.
When the water tank is filled with water, place the bottom of the wick into the water. The wick draws water from the tank and up into itself. A fan located behind the wick blows air over the wick and out into the room. As the air blows over the wick, the water evaporates.
Swamp or evaporative air coolers work best in dry climates; they are not effective in climates with a high humidity since they rely on water evaporation to produce cooling. Swamp coolers do humidify the air and are not recommended for cooling servers or electrical equipment.
How Ion Air Purifiers Work
Most air particles have either a positive or negative charge. Negative ions and particles are magnetically attracted to positive ones and they become attached to each other. This causes the particle to become too heavy to remain airborne making it fall out of the air, preventing it from being inhaled into the respiratory tract where it can trigger breathing and health problems. The ionized particle will be collected by normal cleaning activities, like vacuuming or dusting.
