The unique tail rotor system sets the FanTail Flyer apart from all other radio control airplanes. A micro Magnalite motor located in the airplane's tail supplies efficient power to the tail unit so the airplane does not lose any altitude during turns. Megatech's innovative tail-rotor thrust-vectoring gives perfect left and right turns every time making learning to fly easy and fun! The remote control airplane's propeller is a folding one, the type normally found on powered electric gliders. This means that you can climb to a good altitude and turn off the motor, the propeller will fold backward to reduce drag and allows you to fly the airplane as a glider until you need to gain height again - simply flick the motor back on and away you go.

Megatech's FanTail Flyer has an under-camber wing which produces unusually large amounts of lift, resulting in a very high rate of climb. From launching your remote control airplane to cruising at a high altitude takes just a few seconds.

Flight times will vary depending on how much you turn the motor on and off, but on a day of warm air and plenty of thermals there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to keep the plane in the air much longer than most other electric remote control airplanes.

Another great feature of this RC airplane is that the motor battery pack can be charged directly from the radio control transmitter, which negates the need for a separate battery field charger. With a charging time of only 5 minutes, you won't need to wait long between flights.

The airplane comes complete and ready-to-fly right out of the box. Set includes rechargeable battery pack which conveniently charges direct from the remote controller for field charging anywhere.
