Detailed Product Description:
Wanda Technology's Sorrento Pro is a heavy duty 8 foot by 8 foot square tilting side post umbrella with moon and star lights. There is 38 feet of LED (light emitting diodes) lighting built into the umbrella ribs. No filaments to burnout. The lights are 12V LED lights encased in ultra clear corrosion proof unbreakable polyurethane strands. This gives you a very clean look to your patio. The center moon light uses a standard automotive brake light (bulb is included). The lights have low voltage for safety around water and a 3-way switch for on, off, and dim. Lights are UL approved indoor and outdoor.
The patio umbrella has a foot pedal rotating base with a braking mechanism that locks the umbrella base into position. The umbrella rotates 360 degrees and has 12 preset locking positions for 360 degree coverage. The base has a stainless steel bearings mechanism. The portable base makes it easy to transport your umbrella to different locations.
The Sorrento Pro offset patio umbrella has a patented EZ tilt mechanism. You can adjust the umbrella canopy into many positions. It has a trigger control and can easily be operated with the use of two fingers. This umbrella adjusts to many preset positions. The pistol grip trigger tilt mechanism does not need to crank, pin and re-open.
The canopy has a vent top that allows for hot air and wind to escape from beneath. The umbrella easily closes in seconds and stows away against the main frame. It has an 11' rib span from corner to corner. The canopy has a Market Style valance on all sides which cuts down on direct sunlight.
This heavy duty beach umbrella has marine grade stainless steel hardware which will not rust. It also has nylon hubs and joints that will not chip or break like plastic.
SUNDRA FABRIC is a PU coated Polyester fabric which has a high strength-to-weight ratio, and is the most economical fabric used by Wanda Tech. Sundura is a 100% yarn dyed fabric, and the material is strong given its thickness and weight. Sundura is colorfast, resistant to chemicals, and can be easily washed. Polyester fibers absorb very little moisture. This fiber is quick drying, abrasion resistant; and a low cost, durable fabric. Polyester should retain its color for a year at the very least, depending on daily sun exposure and intensity. Sundura Fabric is 10 ounces per square yard fabric, which is one of the thickest fabrics in industry. The PU coating treatment on the surface provides the extra water repellent feature that most fabrics just "spray" on surface only. The PU coating is able to withstand stronger water pressure than the popular Scotchguard treatment that is used in the sofa and cushion industry. One year warranty.
