Detailed Product Description:
Wanda Technology's Sorrento Solar Plus is a heavy duty 8 foot by 8 foot square tilting side post umbrella with vent top canopy and solar moon light. There are 8 super white LEDs for the center patio umbrella 'moon' light. The light has 3-way (position) switch, off, bright and dim. The solar cell units mount on top of the canopy for full sun exposure. The offset umbrella is solar/AC/DC powered with UL approved indoor/outdoor transformer in 38 1/2 feet of wiring. The light will last at least eight hours.
The patented rotating base has a foot pedal braking mechanism that locks the umbrella base into position. The patio umbrella rotates 360 degrees and has 12 preset locking positions for 360 degree coverage. The base has stainless steel bearings so no rust. The portable base allows for the umbrella to be moved to different locations - backyard, beach, picnic.
The patio umbrella also has a patented EZ tilt mechanism which adjusts the umbrella canopy into many positions in seconds. It uses a trigger control and can easily be done with two fingers. No cranking here.
The canopy of this patio umbrella has a vent top to allow for hot air and wind to escape from beneath. It is easy to open and does not intrude on any other patio furniture. The offset umbrella has an 11 foot rib span from corner to corner. The canopy can be easily closed in seconds and stows away against the main frame. The umbrella has a market style valance on all sides to cut down on direct sunlight.
The Sorrento Solar Plus comes with marine grade hardware. Stainless steel is used to stop rust and nylon hubs and joints won't chip or break like plastic.
Sundura Fabric is a PU coated Polyester fabric which has a high strength-to-weight ratio, and is the most economical fabric used by Wanda Tech. Sundura is a 100% yarn dyed fabric, and the material is strong given its thickness and weight. Sundura is colorfast, resistant to chemicals, and can be easily washed. Polyester fibers absorb very little moisture. This fiber is quick drying, abrasion resistant; and a low cost, durable fabric. Polyester should retain its color for a year at the very least, depending on daily sun exposure and intensity. Sundura Fabric is 10 onces per square yard fabric, which is one of the thickest fabrics in industry. The PU coating treatment on the surface provides the extra water repellent feature that most fabrics just "spray" on surface only. The PU coating is able to withstand stronger water pressure than the popular Scotchguard treatment that is used in the sofa and cushion industry. One year warranty.
