These Bamboo Rugs/Floor Mats are manufactured in the remote Anji Mountains of China and made from the finest 100% Anji Mountain bamboo with a 8 cm 100% polypropolene mitered border. Due to a lengthy annual freeze, this unique growing climate produces the strongest and most durable bamboo in the world which is best-suited for flooring.
All bamboo rugs are available in indoor/outdoor styles in a wide variety of popular sizes. Each area rug is attractive, durable, easy to clean and ecologically friendly. These floor mats compliment all types of flooring including carpet, hardwood, marble and tile. The rugs can accentuate any setting…an entryway, foyer, bedroom, dining room, bathroom, kitchen, sunroom and patio – anywhere a contemporary area rug is needed.
Anji Mountain Bamboo Rug Co. rugs are ecologically friendly. Bamboo has a robust root system that generates multiple new shoots for every mature stock that is harvested. Bamboo grows 8-12 feet per year, unlike hardwood that can take decades to grow to a mature height ready for harvest. Closely regulated harvesting of sustainable bamboo forests is much more ecologically responsible than reckless clear-cutting of old growth hardwood forests.
Each rug is manufactured with a non-slip rug pad backing that is mold, mildew and water-resistant. There is no need to spend additional money on an expensive rug pad.
