An infrared collar is your pet's key to freedom. Let your cat or small dog come and go by himself when you install the Staywell pet door. The automatic pet door can be installed in wood or glass doors. Infrared technology gives the cat door a quicker response time than other automatic pet doors. The infra red door unlocks when a cat or dog wearing an infrared collar 'key' approaches. A timer keeps the door unlocked for up to 20 seconds, allowing the pet to pass through.
The Staywell infrared pet door has four locking positions for controlling your cat's coming and going: in-only, out-only, open and locked.
Four AA batteries are required to keep the electronic system running. An optional transformer kit can be purchased to convert the cat door to AC
power.
The Staywell pet door includes a two inch tunnel for hollow or thick doors. Optional tunnel extensions are available for installation in thicker doors
and walls.
The Staywell cat door is perfect for cats up to fifteen pounds and small dogs up to seven pounds with a maximum shoulder width of five and
seven-eights inches.
The automatic pet door can be installed in wood or glass doors. A two inch tunnel is provided for doors that are hollow or thick.
The electronic pet door is controlled by state of the art infrared technology. After the lock is opened when a pet with a programmed keyed collar
approaches, the adjustable electronic timer keeps the door unlocked for up to twenty seconds and then relocks the door flap to keep out strays
and critters. The solid door flap is transparent to allow you to see out at a glance. The door is protected by a weather resistant magnetic seal to
keep the electronic system and your home dry.
The manual lock can be turned to four different positions. In-only lets pets into the house and will not let them back out. Out-only will allow them out
but not back in. Set the lock to open and pets have free access in and out. Locked stops all traffic through the door.
The electronic pet door uses four AA batteries. Staywell recommends changing the batteries every six months to prevent any accidental lapses
and a low battery indicator will beep when the batteries are low. The pet door can be converted to run on AC power with a tranformer kit.
