Teeter Hangups DEX 2 Decompression and Extension Machine is a commercial grade improvement on the traditional Roman Chair. The unique design actually reduces the load on the hamstrings by placing the knees in the relaxed 90 degree position, rather than forcing less-effective, straight-legged exercises. A variety of back, leg and ab exercises can be performed on the DEX 2 Machine, building strength and endurance while gaining the benefits of inversion, decompression, and muscle extension. Inversion therapy offers immediate relief from many forms of back pain and spasm associated with compression and rotational fatigue. Inversion relaxes and stretches tensed up muscles and may add flexibility to joints.
