A low cost, energy efficient solution to heating cold outdoor areas, InfraTech Infratube Radiant Heaters are ideal for patios, poolside, barbeques, gazebos, spas, garages or any place you may need spot heat. The Infratube Heater incorporates a specially designed electric quartz heating element that produces safe infrared radiant energy. Radiant energy is only absorbed by solid objects and is not wasted heating the air. In addition, Infratube heaters emit no harmful ultraviolet rays. Since there are no open flames or carbon monoxide emissions, mounting clearance requirements are minimal. Infratube fixtures can be installed at lower mounting heights, under canvas, wood awnings, eves and in interior locations. Short standoffs allow the fixtures to seamlessly blend in with any restaurant or patio décor.
Because the W4024 Infratech Electric Outdoor Patio Heater runs on 16 Amps, a standard heat regulator cannot sufficiently handle the current. Therefore a Zone Control Kit, which includes a zone regulator and remote analog control box, is recommended to control heat output.

Infratech Electric Quartz Patio Heaters are permanently mounted out of the reach of children and pets. Since there are no open flames, the clearance requirements for mounting the Infratech heaters are minimal compared to gas radiant heaters. Additionally, each Infratech heater passes a minimum of six quality inspections before it is ready for home use. All Infratech quartz heaters are UL listed, and come with detailed installation and useage instructions.
Infratech's main component is a specially designed quartz element, which produces infrared radiant energy that travels in invisible waves. These waves reflect off of an anodized reflector and transmit through the air heating only those objects at which they are directed. Energy is not wasted by heating the air. The reflector itself is made of a special corrosion resistant alloy, an important feature for humid climates and coastal areas.
