The Comfort Zone Buckwheat Neck Roll Pillow by DreamTime uses buckwheat hull filling to provide firm, yet gentle support for the head and neck all night long. Since buckwheat is a fruit (fagopyrum esculentum) that is related to rhubarb, rather than a grain, buckwheat hulls are hypo-allergenic. Only a handful of people are actually allergic to buckwheat hulls. Buckwheat hulls do not compress during the night, unlike other pillow fillers, but move freely to adjust and provide firm, yet gentle support to the head and neck. Air circulates throughtout the neck roll, keeping it cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Support from the buckwheat neck roll is provided in all directions, eliminating muscle strain and pressure points. Buckwheat hulls do not wear out or break down from frequent use, but become polished. This allows the hulls to move and conform better to contours of the head and neck.
