This table tennis blade is made of Hard Pine Tree, Limba for stabilization, Texalium for the big Sweet Spot, and a very thick Balsa core. JOOLA has also added the sensor-optimized K4 T-Nut grip in the proven RAG technology for increased grip stability. RAG technology sensor optimizes the grip construction, giving an even better feeling between the blade and hand.

The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) was formed in Berlin in 1926 to set and standardize the rules of this relatively new sport. There are specific requirements concerning the composition of the blade and the rubber and foam covering, but the otherwise the rules state: "The racquet may be of any size, shape, or weight but the blade shall be flat and rigid". The interpretation of these parameters has resulted in unlimited choice of blades and paddles on the market today.
